Class Schedule
8 weeks, Wednesdays August 24 – October 12, 2022, 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
Program Description
As we continue to learn from ancient myths and warrior cultures, as warriors, we may find
ourselves suddenly searching for a deeper meaning or purpose in our life. All of which is a
common experiences on our hero’s journey of life. This nondenominational program supports our search for ultimate meaning, and healing of trauma, through exploring practices to see into the soul. Through the soul, you can find your belief in a higher power, an awareness of life and its meaning, and the centering of a person with a purpose in life.
Topics to be explored:
The Soul and the Hero’s Journey
Integrating Mind-Body-Soul
Relationship between religion and spirituality, higher self
Science, consciousness, and spirituality
Your current journey as a whole warrior
Locations
Hybrid class. If attending in person, The Battle Within Office, Unity Village, MO. Video conference opportunities for those unable to attend in person.
Warrior Commitment
In-person Weekly Wednesday meetings August 24-Octboer 12, 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
Program Availability
This program is open to Warriors, Warrior's partner of all faiths and beliefs.
Program Goals
Increased self-confidence; discovering and living a deeper meaning in life and sense of connection with people.
Program Cost to Warrior
There is no cost to participate in this program.
Program Instructor
Steve Colladay
About Steve
Steve Colladay is a TBW alum (Cohort 010 in 2017). For the past 43 years he has been supporting our military and first responders VA Vet Centers in 5 states, and currently is a TBW mentor. Steve has been an Interfaith Chaplain with the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy serving our military on R & R flights to/from Iraq/Afghanistan. He has training and experience in a wide spectrum of therapeutic and spiritual modalities including spiritual wellness, meditation, gestalt therapy, body/mind/spirit research integration, clinical hospital chaplaincy. He holds a doctorate in organizational development, Master’s in counseling/college student personnel. At age 50 he became an ordained Unity minister, recently has been serving as a transitional specialist. Steve lives in Lee’s Summit, loves piano improv, cycling, walking, and running—prior to 2012 completed 29 marathons and three 36-mile ultras.
